We are just a couple of weeks out from our target completion date, and final details are coming together. The structure for many office areas complete, as is most of the paint. Interface recycled carpet has been laid.
This week’s progress included work on solar panels and installation of the vertical access wind turbine, a landmark feature. With blades measuring twelve feet, this generates aerodynamic force without having to be pointed at the wind. Gabion wall construction also moved ahead, and site landscaping began.
We’re entering the exciting part of the job where hard work gives way to a finished project. NPT flooring and Interface carpet are being laid. Low VOC paint is being spread. Fixtures, like water fountains and sinks are being installed. Thing are coming together.
As the project near completion, focus shifts to final details. Tuff Sheds arrived on campus this week, and large solar panels are being installed on the grounds. We’re making way for landscaping, painting exteriors and rolling the lot prior to paving.
Around campus, sustainable building features like solar panels and wind turbines are in place, ready to harness renewable energy. Painters with low VOC coatings are working indoors and tile has been installed in the restroom areas, making way for plumbing fixtures and accessories.
Our Austin project continues to progress on schedule. Inside the structure, we are moving ahead with sheet rock finishing, duct installation and fire sprinkler risers.
This week, activity onsite moved along on schedule. Rock milled onsite was repositioned and will be used as backfill for the foundation. Sheathing was added to the sign canopy. Metal stud framing, duct work and sheet rock finishing progressed.
